Broomhall Farmhouse
Holymoorside
Broomhall Farmhouse represents an irreplaceable and rare example of the short-lived English Baroque (1695-1730).
Constructed as a ‘model-farm’ within ‘picturesque’ landscape setting and devised to impress - it is one of the most remarkable buildings in the Chesterfield district Rural Fringe.
It also provides evidential insights into the social history of the area, including that of a significant land owner and tenant.
Bench Architects were assigned to develop building repairs and alterations to the Farm House, Barn and Stables.
